FINE PAPER x SILK SCREEN

“FINE PAPER × SILK SCREEN” is an exhibition, co-hosted by TAKEO Co., Ltd., Kumazawa Screen Printing, Inc. and MORI DESIGN INC. This exhibition features the ‘FINE PAPER x SILK SCREEN Sample Book,’ as well as films and printing screens used in the production process, along with a video documenting the printing process.

Kacto, a new restaurant in Kyoto

Kacto, a modern American restaurant and cafe by TYSONS & COMPANY, has opened in Shijo-Kawaramachi, Kyoto. The name of the restaurant is derived from the “Dongori Bridge” over the Kamo River that runs behind the restaurant. MORI DESIGN their logotype, in-store menu, and website. The restaurants lively photos on the website were taken by Masako Nakagawa.

ALLU AUCTION TOKYO

We’ve been working on the branding and launch of this premium auction house for 2 years. The Inaugural Auction was held successfully on January 28, 2023 in Ginza, Tokyo, with live online bidding from around the globe.

BOU YOU ROU

We designed a new logo, amenities, and website for the renewal of BOU YOU ROU, a long-established ryokan (Japanese-style inn) in Mikuni, Fukui Prefecture. Photographs by Yusuke Nishibe. Seven distinguished rooms with breathtaking ocean views by architect Shuko Harada. Opened in November 2021.

After almost 10 years, we’ve finally renewed our website. We also created an official Instagram account to show our past archives along with our latest activities. Takenobu Igarashi A-Z

A compilation of Takenobu Igarashi’s three dimensional alphabetical works “Takenobu Igarashi A-Z” will be on sale September 25. This book was co-edited and designed by Haruki Mori, working closely with writer/editor Sakura Nomiyama and Mr. Igarashi himself. The book features not only his most celebrated works, but also includes a first look at his archival plans, drawings, and production mechanicals for his iconic designs. We’ve Moved!

Our office is now located in the heart of Omotesando, just a few minutes from the station. We will continue to work remotely, and this new space is specifically designed to fit our new working style.

Gregor Calendar Award 2020

After receiving Silver Award at the National Calendar Contest, Kumazawa Screen Printing Inc. 2020 Calendar receives Japan Calendar Award Gold at the Gregor Calendar Award, the most prominent calendar exhibition in Europe.
